Indian Spirit Timber was a grade, liver chestnut Appaloosa gelding with a big white spotted blanket covering his back. Timber was my first horse. He taught me to ride, care for, and love all things equus. He also instiled in me a deep and lasting devotion to the breed. Together we covered hundreds of miles and hours on the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest trails. Timber was a true bbysitter; patient, gentle, kind, quiet and willing. He had a heart of gold and the soul of an angel. Although he touched my life only briefly, he owns a place in my heart forever. Please wait for me, my faithful steed so that we may ride over the Rainbow Bridge and into Heaven together.

There still remains his picture Hung upon the tack room wall. Although he had no pedigree, The greatest horse of all.
