Indian Spirit Horses is putting together a foundation leopard shuffling program.  Blending Scripter, Ulrich, Toby, Ghost Wind, Money Creek and all the old Indian tribal lines from all over the country.  We are dedicated to preserving and concentrating Appaloosa genetics.   We have acquired a half dozen shuffling horses with high Foundation Pedigree Designation percentages and classic Appaloosa "can do" disposition and structure.  This will give us a good base to preserve and protect the breed that we love. Here at the farm, we believe strongly in natural feeding, housing and training methods.  We maintain large grass pastures with shelter, small herd sizes and the safest fencing available. Breeding stock are also fed Spirit Plus Nutrition .  Free choice plain and mineral salt is always available. We believe in being "treeless, bitless and barefoot".

We have a private foaling paddock with video/audio monitor. All of our babies are lovingly imprinted at birth and trained to lead, stand and be trimmed in the first weeks of life, using the methods of Dr. Robert Miller D.V.M. They are then turned out to pasture with the herd and handled daily until sold.

Our yearlings and older are started using the methods of Monty Roberts and Dr. Robert Miller D.V.M. All stock is wormed every 8 weeks. They are vaccinated annually, plus maternity vaccinations for our broodmares.

We pride ourselves in producing naturally hardy, healthy, well adjusted and people oriented foals. Our ApHC foals are eligible for: ApHC FPD, ICAA, FAHR, CRHA, and SBC. "May All Your Horses Have Spots".
